Ichiro Iwasaki’s Tube Collection Wins 2020 HD Award

Designed by Ichiro Iwasaki, Vibia’s Tube collection won best lighting product of 2020 in the 16th annual Hospitality Design (HD) Awards. The prestigious honors showcase the most innovative project and product design from around the world.

Iwasaki’s LED-powered collection consists of a network of simple tubes that channels light to different shades.

Available in ceiling or pendant versions with adjustable heights, it recalls the architecture of an urban grid in a striking landscape of conduits and reflectors.

Minimalist in concept and form, the modular system provides powerful capabilities for personalized designs.

Vibia The Edit - The Making of Tempo

Two other Vibia collections—Tempo by Lievore Altherr and Puck Wall Art by Jordi Vilardell—were among the lighting product finalists. The winners were announced in a live, virtual ceremony on October 22.
