Designed by Ramos & Bassols, Duo Petra is ideal for a spacious interior with a sober and minimalist aesthetic. Articulated in broad semi-spherical silhouettes, its supple slate-lined interior, available in all Duo models, offers an intriguing material contrast to the warmth of the oak-finished original. Natural light reflects evenly off its exterior while diffuse light seeps outwards from the darker interior, bathing the surrounding space in an alluring glow.

Similar to the textured lines that characterise the oak, Duo Petra’s slate veneer is enriched by delicate veins that give each piece a unique quality. The natural stone, called “pizarra” in Spanish, comes in sheets or “láminas” which are moulded into the desired shape in a process called wood bending. It is the first time that stone has been used for such a complex and innovative process.

Duo Petra is particularly apt for lower-ceilings where a pendant fitting is not suitable. Each fitting provides comfortable general diffused illumination with the option of precise temperature regulation – or “tunable white” – guaranteeing the perfect atmosphere for every moment or use. Available in three versatile finishes, the collection seamlessly integrates into any space.
