Vibia at Salone del Mobile 2022

Milan Design Week 2022, the most influential event of its kind in the world, takes place June 6-12 after a two-year hiatus. Vibia will once again participate, exhibiting its latest collections at Fuorisalone in the Brera Design District, as well as at Salone de Mobile in the Rho fairgrounds.

Here are the main spots where you can visit us and discover more about our novelties:

Vibia The Edit - Salone del Mobile

Fuori Salone – Brera Area

Hi Lite Next hosts Vibia’s largest installation at Fuorisalone. Located on Via Brera, 30, the showroom offers a minimalist backdrop for several Plusminus and Mayfair Mini luminaires. Several installations of Plusminus will be placed in different areas of the space: from a series of taut, V-shaped belts to more relaxed vertical silhouettes, that reveal the range of possibilities provided by this customizable collection.

In addition, Vibia is exhibiting Plusminus in the DAAily Lounge at the Swiss Center on Via Palestro, 2, in eastern Brera. A central meeting area that celebrates the union of Designboom, Architonic, and ArchDaily, the lounge serves as a communal space for the design community. Plusminus is installed over a grouping of café tables, the semicircular shades and loose fabric straps lending a laidback feeling.

At Inspired in Barcelona in Fuorisalone on Via Madonnina, 12, visitors enjoy a travelling exhibition that showcases the Catalan city’s creativity in different lounge spaces. Here, both Plusminus and Flat are deployed, brightening one of Milan’s oldest courtyards.

Salone del Mobile – Rho

Vibia will also show Plusminus at Salone Satellite, a special exhibition in Salone de Mobile targeted to designers under 35. This Plusminus installation features long loops of fabric wound around a pair of metal rails and fit with luminaires at various heights for visual interest.

Created by Stefan Diez, Plusminus is a groundbreaking lighting system featuring a textural fabric ribbon that conducts electricity and fastens like a belt.

Mayfair Mini by Diego Fortunato makes a striking statement in a small-scale design. A modern reimagining of the 19th-century bouillotte lamp, its interplay of crisp lines and curved contours creates a sculptural silhouette.

Designed by Ichiro Iwasaki, the Flat collection features disc-shaped diffusers that form horizontal planes of light.
