Vibia Presents: Iconic Table Lights

Dama strips the traditional Abat-Jour lamp down to its bare essentials, reimagining the classic table lamp through a contemporary lens.

According to designers Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, the fixture is designed to accompany the intimate moments of everyday life. A feminine and romantic object, its paper shade combines a sense of warmth with extreme lightness, an idea that you sense visually as much as physically.

Africa generates a micro space within a space. Designer Francisco Gómez Paz takes away the mechanical aspect of a traditional work lamp and gives it freedom with a battery-powered LED that provides three levels of focused, high-flow illumination.

A timeless proposal from Japanese designer Ichiro Iwasaki, Pin is both classic and contemporary. Featuring an adjustable head with an LED-powered light source, the fixture is small in scale while providing efficient, high performance lighting that’s ideal for reading. Finished in a range of soft-matte finishes, its slender stem and dome shade will enhance a minimalist workstation with a quiet elegance.

Small and compact with crisp lines and smooth curves, Flat’s distinctive disk-shaped diffusers form horizontal planes of light that will complement both a contemporary and classic interior style.
