Metropolis Likes Award 2018

Vibia’s MAYFAIR lamp is a winner of the prestigious #MetropolisLikes award for 2018, given by Metropolis magazine.

This one-of-a-kind award , made in Austin, Texas, is made from urban reclaimed wood from a sycamore tree, which would have otherwise been shredded into wood mulch, recovered and kiln-dried.

This commitment to design and sustainability is another source of great pride for us in winning this award.

Our winner, MAYFAIR, designed by Diego Fortunato, was inspired by 18^thcentury lamps found in libraries and billiards rooms of that time. These traditional fixtures were revamped with a highly contemporary style and refined hidden LED light source.

The Mayfair collection encompasses hanging, floor and table lamps that are characterized by their slender vertical column and metal disc base or canopy and is available in matte white lacquer, matte brushed gold, matte satin copper, matte graphite lacquer or a translucent green shade combined with graphite.
