Vibia's lighting emotions at Stockholm Design Week

During the recent Stockholm Design Week, held from February 2nd to 8th, we invited interior design, architecture, and lighting professionals from Scandinavia to experience first-hand the emotions our collections can evoke.

In the new space of our partner Note Design Studio – a design studio celebrating collaborative spirit and innovative approach – they showed the well-being they bring to interior design, as expressed through our new approach to lighting, Shaping Atmospheres.

Stockholm Design Week, a reference point for Scandinavian design and its global projection, runs for several days throughout the city. It features events and exhibitions open to professionals and the public.

In this year’s edition, Vibia participated by bringing its expertise in lighting.

For this purpose, we have joined forces with Note Design Studio. We both share the same vision of the future of design, which seeks to evoke emotions by stimulating meaningful and conceptual dialogue. Evidence of this is the design of our Musa lamp, which appeals to touch and, from a table, reinforces its object poetics.

In their new space in the Swedish capital, we hosted an exclusive event to present our latest catalogue and share our new approach to lighting, Shapping Atmospheres.

A selection of Vibia’s collections brightened different areas of the studio, bringing their particular functionality and aesthetics to create atmospheres.

From its linear position on the ceiling, Diez Office‘s Plusminus showed the creative possibilities of reinvented track lighting.

Plusminus Solo, also by Diez Office, created pleasant harmonious effects by directing the light beam from the top of its elegant high-stemmed design.

Antoni Arola‘s Flamingo lamp seemed to fly over the heads of the audience with that ethereal light appearance that only experienced designers can convey.

Meike Harde‘s collection, Knit, was presented in a floor-standing version, which exudes intimacy and ambient comfort thanks to its luminosity-softening fabric.

Although small in size, Mayfair Mini, designed by Diego Fortunato, has made its mark by offering a modern reinvention of the traditional 19th-century bouillotte table lamp.
